Online 24 - Written Exam Prep Course 2024
This is our online written exam preparation course. It is designed to be undertaken over an intensive two-week period, but provides maximum flexibility as to when it can be undertaken. If you have study leave for the 7th - 18th October or 25th November - 6th December, you can do the course during both those periods; however, you can also do the course at any other time/s (in parts or as a whole) with the course being available online from 2:00pm on 2nd September until the February exam in 2025. It has been specifically designed for the online environment, based on 4 years of online experience and feedback.
The course contains the following features:
Video lectures – Comprehensive lectures by experienced speakers covering important topics with a focus on evidence-based medicine, current hot topics, and revision of generally poorly understood areas. These are revised each year and pre-recorded shortly before the course starts. They allow you to scroll forward or pause the lecture. These are the same lectures given at the in-person course (25th November - 6th December).
Comprehensive Course notes – Available as downloadable secure PDFs
Trial Exam - You will be able to participate in an online trial exam at any time until 9th December. Shortly after the exam closes, we will provide an exam analysis showing the spread of all scores and the pass mark. From 10th December the trial exam paper and answers will be made available in pdf format.
Practise MCQs – Online Practice MCQs for each sub-specialty, to enhance learning at the course.
Additional Learning - Video lectures on other topics that you may find useful, in addition to the main course content.
Q&A Facility – Questions may be submitted to speakers at any time whilst undertaking the course. Answers will be provided and made available on the course portal once they have been received from the speakers, each month. All people attending the course will be able to see all questions asked and their answers. Q&A Facility closes 9th December 2023

The fee for the course is $2375. You may reserve your place by paying a deposit of $1,100, with the balance of $1,275 due by 1st August. A reminder will be sent in July. After this date, you may register by paying the full fee only.
There is a cancellation fee of $55 to withdraw from the course prior to 31st August. After this date, cancellations will not receive a refund.
All registrations must be made online using any of the major credit and debit cards. Payments are secure and processed by Stripe. Please click on the the 'Register' button to start your registration. You will register as a user of our website first and, once this has been done, you can register and pay for the course. If you have already created an account for our website, please login with your email address and password first. Please ensure you do not press the 'proceed' button more than once when paying for the course as this may result in more than one payment. There may be a delay in processing your payment and you should wait for confirmation which may take up to a minute. Once you have registered and paid you will receive a receipt automatically. We will confirm all registrations in a further email, within 2 business days.
Registrations are made on the condition that course notes and/or logins will not be shared with others. Login to the online course will be secured by two factor authentication codes sent to your mobile and/or email. Login is limited to one device at a time. You will receive a course guide providing details on how to access the course on the 2nd September.
